Daniel, Jossue: We propose to work on prison recidivism, which is caused by the lack of a decent life after being released from prison. Frankie, Victor, Keily, Jazmin, Liliana: We would like to work on the never ending issue of college dropouts with a major cause of not being able to afford tuition. William, Billy, Jose: The problem we propose to work on is Burglary because in high income communities peoples houses get broken into, with the risk of someone being inside the home, and they lose their valuables. In some cases, the Burglar might have the intentions to break and enter to kidnap someone or that person could be in the way of their crime. A way to fix the problems is to have security measures to counter Burglary.
Alba, Marcos: The crisis for animal abuse and abandonment, in los angeles it is very common to see a dog or cat wandering the streets alone and beat up.
PERIOD 6:

Holly, Jackie, Ricardo: Medicine in the United States is big business. services have risen sharply in recent decades, having increased ten times more than in 1980, and now costs the nation more than $2.6 trillion annually. This issue is important because it is too expensive and less accessible to people who dont dont have enough money. Their lack of health insurance can have deadly consequences because they are less likely to receive medical assistance to their lack of money.
Diego, Earnie, Perla, Lizbeth: The issue that our group wants to work on is on humans preventing pollution. Creating a program that requires students (pre-k through college) to have a certain amount of hours they need to help clean the community. Some people will get scholarships or awards for cleaning the community. Not only scholarships but there will also be a presidential award for the person that cleans the community.
Edwin, Alonzo, Carmen, Gera: The problem and issue is that many young teens are unaware of the cost of having a baby so they turn to abortion. A solution is that we have bigger funds on Sex Education courses and hire more counsolers to help young teens cope with pregnancy.
